I've been better but I've been worse so guess you could say things are fine a little boring now though how do people combat boredom in this place, maya? I'm losing my mind

A nice, rousing swim in the harbor?  Picking fights with things in the forest?  Chatting with me?  I'm pretty interesting!

while those other things sound really appealing I think I'll pass for now and it's been a long time since we've talked anyway in that case, what's going on in the interesting world of maya? besides being kidnapped by sirens.

Not much! Just catching up with everyone and making sure we're all primed and prepped for the next round of whatever we're going to have to deal with. I'm sure it's on the way.

man. how do you make even THAT sound like a positive thing? whatever it is probably won't be as bad as last month...hopefully

We got out of it okay, didn't we?  It'll be okay, Percy.  As long as we stick together, I'm pretty sure we can handle the majority of obstacles pretty easily.

you say that, but there's still one big problem we haven't solved yet and I don't know how to find answers do we really know where people go when they disappear?

... That's true.  I can't imagine the town would just get sick of us and send us back home.

Then again, I can't say I can understand how a town thinks in the first place.

I think we're here for a reason and the town sees value to us, but it doesn't make sense why they'd send some people away they. it. whoever. we still don't actually know that either I'm not going to say it's destiny because I already fulfilled my share of prophecies, but I don't think the choice is random either

Do they make prophecies about you that often? That sounds a little problematic.

so far it's only been two, but we weren't sure they were about me for a while. turns out they were the second one involved seven of us though

Well.  They say seven is a fairly important number in poems and prophecies.

"seven half-bloods shall answer the call, to storm or fire, the world must fall, an oath to keep with a final breath, and foes bear arms to the Doors of Death" seven was definitely important, but we also couldn't have really done it without some extra help rachel gave us that one right after the first prophecy was fulfilled two summers ago

I'm starting to think prophecies aren't really supposed to be happy or myths in general it's also why I've been keeping an eye on that story that shows up on the quest board. have you been following it?

It sounds like a fairy tale to me. But also enough connects it to the setting that maybe it's more of a warning.

Minato and I talked about this once. how some of the things happening here or the quests that are showing up are based in stories and myth and maybe they're coming from our own worlds don't most fairy tales have some lesson to them anyway? supposedly

Yeah, they do. And they're fairly obvious lessons too.

if that's true...what do you thin the obvious lesson is here?

I think we'd have to let the story progress to know more, but I think it might have something to do with bonds.

seems to be a part of what makes whoever we're answering to happier. we bond with each other, we go on quests together, colors come back i can't believe this is all we have to focus on anymore

Well. Maybe the more color we restore, the more answers we'll get. If nothing else, we're getting more of that story.

I hope so. this better not be all for nothing... ...I have some things I want to try. if I figure it out, maybe more color will return wish me luck?
