[There's nothing more miserable than crumbling after suffering for so long, reaching for food to take a bite--and only getting a single bite before he found himself back in the town proper. Minato looks around. His stomach grumbles. And he just groans, uncaring where in the town he is, and slumps to the ground by the nearest building, tiredly resting his chin on his knees.

Ughhhhhhhhhh.]

[ Why does this keep happening-- upon realizing that she's back in the town proper, Maya's started preparing herself to help out where she can. She's already known that the blues have been having a rough time with food, but before she can arm herself with actual food, there's very suddenly... Minato. Slumping down. ]

Minato-kun!!

[ Hope you don't mind a very concerned Maya kneeling down in front of you?? ]

[He doesn't mind...thanks, Maya-nee. He does peer up at her vaguely...and then just leans back again, letting his head fall back against the wall.

Amano-san...? Hey. Good to see you again... [Tiredly and a little faintly. Minato, please.]

[Give him a minute. His brow furrows and he grimaces, but slowly he pushes himself up, wavering only a little.

I don't know about "now", but I do think you're pretty resilient!

[ But all the same, she's going to move closer, reaching out to steady him. ]

So until you're okay, I think I'm feeling the urge to keep you company for a little while!

Thankfully, I don't think I'm very far from here... it kind of works out okay that this town isn't that big.

I was just thinking that... you could plausibly check on everyone in one day.

It'd take awhile, though, even with how small this place can be--since there are still a lot of empty houses.

I wonder if people will keep appearing until the houses are filled.

That'd be a rather large number of people, don't you think? Especially since they like to give us roommates...

You might be right, though.

[So they have to keep expecting new people...!!!]

Even if every house ends up with around 2-4 roommates, that's still a fairly small community.

But either way, I'm sure we'll be prepared!

A small community, but a lot of kidnapping victims...

... All of whom are doing their best! I wonder what else we'll figure out about the town.

Hopefully, everything. I'd really like to know... just what happened to the people who were here before.

I'd also like to know that. There were clearly residents here, at some point. And with a forest like that, I can't really find myself believing they migrated peacefully to some other place.

... A few months back, when we were cleaning out the town, there were skeletons hidden in closets and basements.

[He frowns.]

But I don't think it was everyone who was here, either.

Just the occasional skeleton?

... Actually, in a closet sounds like a terrible place to have died.

I really, really hope that's not how they died, Amano-san.
