We need to work on your sneaking then. [Shiho is merciless as always though the effect is probably spoiled when she starts bustling about the kitchen, making lavender tea.]

Once the water has reached the proper temperature, not a degree more or less, she takes it off and pours it into a pot, sprinkling lavender buds on top as she wills herself to just stop stalling. Taking a deep breath of warm, lavender-scented steam, she turns to set the pot down and take a seat of her own.]
And that's putting it lightly. Not... here though. Not really. [Though she has her doubts about Keigo which is why she's decided never to tell him. Everyone else has always been very kind and given her no reason to doubt them.]
....It's... not that I don't trust you though. [She wants to.]
There are some things that are harder to talk about than others. It doesn't always have to do with trust... just that it's painful to talk about, and the painful things are the ones that get stuck in your throat more than anything.
[ Even Maya has her secrets-- but she smiles warmly at Shiho after a few seconds. ]
So I'm not offended or anything. I'm really honored that you wanted to tell me, Shiho-chan.
[Shiho's hands are clutched tight in her lap, her own tea forgotten as she listens. And for a moment she kind of thinks... it would be nice to grow up to be an adult like Maya.
Then she looks back up, mouth pulled into a pout.]
...It's not like it's a huge secret. And it's not... just about being an esper. There are a lot of different powers. It's my power that's the issue. I guess. I'm a psychometer.
